Before designing a new neighborhood of single-family homes and marketing it, we first had to replace an old stereotype with a new promise in the minds of prospective buyers.

Sometimes, a renovation happens in a concentrated burst of activity. And sometimes, life has other plans. But with vision and dedication to shared goals, it won’t be more than you can chew.

Dorothy only had to click her heels three times. For me, it took a generation’s worth of experience to understand just how important the design of home is to all of us—and to find my own way there.
